The Agricultural Technologies and Mechanization Committee meeting was held in Ankara on 24-25 November 2022, and it was anonymously decided to organize the 2nd National Harvest Mechanization Workshop in Diyarbakır by Dicle University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies during the Committee meeting. Hence, the National Harvest Mechanization Workshop is to be held on 21-22 September 2023 at Dicle University Diyarbakır 15 Temmuz Congress Center.
The main purpose of the workshop is to bring together the relevant stakeholders. Academicians working on harvest mechanization in field agriculture, representatives of farmers’ unions, representatives of combine harvester owners and operators, representatives of public institutions and organizations, and representatives of companies that produce, import and sell harvesting machines in Turkey will be attended to the workshop. Special sessions will be planned for each stakeholder group, and the opportunity to convey and discuss their thoughts on the subject will be given within the scope of the workshop. Although to a lesser extent, the workshop is to determine the road map that will enable the machine harvesting to be carried out for our country in the following processes, by making the final declaration of the suggestions that will emerge in line with the opinions on the machine harvesting problems and solution suggestions.
