Agrievolution, a worldwide umbrella organization for national agriculture machinery manufacturer associations, has just published its world tractor market report for the 4th quarter of the year 2021.
The report shows there have been different trends for tractor sales in different parts of the world. Agrievolution comprises 14 national associations representing Argentina, the USA, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, European Union, Turkey, Russia, Iran, India, China, South Korea, and Japan. It regularly publishes statistical reports on the agri-machinery industry based on data provided by its member associations regarding their relevant countries, the world tractor market report being one of them.
While the upward trend continues in the global tractor market in 2021, primarily in Japan, Turkey, Canada, South Korea, and the USA, there is a slump in tractor sales in Russia and India in the fourth quarter compared to the previous year. Apart from this, tractor sales over 30 hp surge in Canada and Japan, and a drastic fall is observed in all tractor groups in Russia. The data in the report indicate that the contraction in the regional markets in Europe is mainly experienced in the French market. On the other hand, there was some activity in the Spanish market in the same period. Meantime, official data from Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy point out a dramatic rise in tractor sales.
