During April registrations of agricultural tractors were higher than in April last year. This continues a trend seen during the first three months of the year. At 6,433 machines (including 2022 and 2023 model years), the April figure was an increase of 18.9% compared with 12 months ago. The statistics from the Traffic Registration Bureau indicate the highest total for the time of year since 2017 as manufacturers continue to work through the backlog of orders which built up last year due to supply chain challenges.
On the other side, 25,494 tractors (including the 2022 and 2023 model years) were registered to the traffic in Q1 plus April. Domestic sales rose by 48.3 percent in 2023 year-on-year, while it increased by 64,9 percent compared to the average of the last 5 years.
