The ICT-AGRI-FOOD consortium aims to strengthen cooperation in research, development and innovation among partners to encourage and facilitate/activate the use of digital technologies that will enable the transition to more sustainable, robust and flexible food systems, taking into account the needs of stakeholders operating in the food chain from field to table, Turkiye will also be a participant in the consortium.
In this context, the call was made on March 20, 2024 and covers the following thematic areas.
Topic 1: Artificial Intelligence Tools for Sustainable Agri-Food Systems
Topic 2: Post-industrial agriculture: Developing knowledge-based and digital technologies to strengthen and revitalize best practices for regenerative agriculture
Topic 3: Intelligent Decision-Making and Reflection Systems in Agriculture
Topic 4: Free Topic (The main problem/challenges stated in the call text should be targeted.)
Who can take part?
The consortium presenting the project proposal must include a partner from at least three different countries participating in the call and at least one partner from each country. Each partner will be supported by their country’s funding agency. The budget of the partner in any consortium participating from our country will be provided through TÜBİTAK. In the project proposals to be submitted within the scope of this call, public institutions and organizations as well as capital companies established in Turkey, which create added value at the company level and have a trade registry certificate, regardless of the size of our sector, can take part as partners.
Project duration and budget:
The project duration can be a maximum of 36 months. The maximum amount that the proposers or partners from our country can request for each project proposal is 150,000 euros.
Support rate:
Large-scale private organizations will be supported with a support rate of 60% based on their accepted budgets, and SMEs will be supported with a support rate of 75% based on their accepted budgets.
