Our joint project application titled “AgrInnovate EDIH” with a total budget of €1,992,601.08 (50% EU supported), has been in preparation for approximately 1 year and aims to bring a European Digital Innovation Center (ADIM) focused on agriculture and food to our country, has completed the European Union evaluation phase and has become one of the 5 consortia accepted from our country to the European Digital Innovation Centers (EDIH Network) network.
Our consortium, which passed the European Commission eliminations after the Turkish eliminations in which 57 consortiums participated, has thus become one of the 5 ADIMs to be established in Turkey and has also gained the opportunity to be included in the EDIH network in Europe.
AgrInnovate EDIH Consortium partners:
1. ITTM Agricultural Technologies Enterprise Inc. (Coordinator)
2. Izmir Chamber of Commerce
3. Turkish Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Manufacturers Association
4. Yaşar University
5. İmecemobil Agriculture Platform Electronic Services Trade Inc.
6. Neohub Technology Software Marketing and Consulting Inc.
7. Izmir Development Agency
8. Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry
9. Software Industrialists Association
The projects are expected to start in January 2025 and last for 48 months after the contract signing process is completed.
EDIHs are planned to provide the following services for industrial companies:
Pre-Investment Testing: Awareness raising, digital maturity assessment, demonstration activities, vision creation for digital transformation, testing and experimentation with digital technologies, knowledge and technology transfer services.
Skills and Training: Organising training and internship programs, short-term advanced digital skills training courses and supporting work placements to best use innovative digital technologies.
Support for Finding Investors: Accessing financial institutions and investors and supporting EU-wide financing mechanisms.
Innovation Ecosystem and Networking: Bringing together industry, businesses and public administrations in need of new technological solutions with start-ups and SMEs with market-ready solutions and matching technology suppliers and users.
EDIHs will also act as access points to the European ADIM network. In this way, if a stakeholder applying to them does not meet the required competence, they will act as an intermediary for the relevant stakeholder to receive support from other EDIHs across Europe. Similarly, each ADIM will also support other stakeholders (in other regions and/or countries) who need their expertise. ADIMs will also work to establish networks with other centers, share good practice examples and expertise, and bring companies into contact with other companies in their value chain.
