The 8th Global Agricultural Machinery Summit organized by the Agrievolution Association, of which we are a founding member, took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital, from September 1 to 3, 2025.
Since its inception in Rome in 2008, this significant international event has taken place in Orlando, USA; Paris, France; New Delhi, India; Istanbul, Turkey; Wuhan, China; and Madrid & Valencia, Spain. The theme of this year’s conference was “Ensuring Sustainable Agriculture, Food Security, and Operational Efficiency through Mechanization and Precision Technologies.”
At the summit, prominent figures from the industry such as Kemal Shoshi (President of YANMAR AGRIBUSINESS), Matteo Cunial (Founder & CRO of xFarm Technology), and Beth Bechdol (FAO Deputy Director General), along with representatives from various global organizations, shared their success stories, field experiences, and visions for the future. Participants included producers, academics, and industry professionals. Agricultural trends and practices from different regions were evaluated on a global scale, and new connections were established through shared knowledge and experience.
A one-day field demonstration event was also held as part of the summit. Argentina’s world-renowned stubble planting and conservation agriculture techniques were demonstrated in action. This event attracted considerable interest, providing a hands-on experience of the latest agricultural technologies.
In partnership with CAFMA (Argentine Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association), which facilitated the summit, and Exponenciar, this event provided an excellent opportunity for participants to engage in international interaction and collaboration.
