The total agricultural machinery exports declined by 12.6 percent during the January–June period of 2025 (excluding free trade zones), amounting to $595 million, compared to the corresponding period in 2024, according to the latest edition of the Machinery Exporters’ Association 2025 foreign trade report. Based on these figures, the national industry ranked sixth out of 23 in the overall machinery sector. During this timeframe, the average export value per kilogram was $5.7. Key export markets included Italy, the USA, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iraq, Uzbekistan, France, Ukraine, Germany, and Turkmenistan. Regarding ag-machinery imports, there was a 28 percent decrease in the January-May 2024 period compared to 2024 figures, totaling $474 million. Consequently, our sector’s foreign trade surplus reached $104 million. The reduction in exports was mainly attributed to the tractor segment.
