Ergonomics known as a multidisciplinary branch of science considers the anatomical and anthropometric characteristics of human beings, their physiological capacities, and tolerances that investigate the fundamental theories of human-machine-environment compatibility according to physical, physiological and psychological reactions, which are formed by the effect of location and environment variables. In this context, the 29th National Ergonomics Congress contains Agriculture, Industry, Textile, Furniture, Aviation, Service, Mining, Health, Occupational Safety, Construction, Food, Education, Art and other relevant fields. It covers all related sectors and all scientific disciplines that examine any profession or condition within these sectors.
The target audience of the congress consists of employees, representatives and academicians of the sectors mentioned above. The 29th National Ergonomics Congress will be held in Çanakkale between 12-14 October 2023 in cooperation with the Turkish Ergonomics Association and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. Participation in the congress, which will be held in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Terzioglu campus, will be face-to-face.
The chairman of the Congress is the group member of TARMAKBİR Academic Advisory Group Prof. Dr. Sarp Korkut Sümer and the theme has been determined as “Industry 4.0 and Ergonomics”, taking into account the developing technologies and changing control systems and user interfaces. The sponsorship file of the event, which is aimed at a meeting where academic and sectoral study results are shared, problems are discussed, solutions are offered, promotional stands and exhibitions of sector representatives are held, and university-industry collaborations are developed, can also be requested from our Association.
