The number of brand-new tractors sold on the market fell by 16 percent to 5,223 units in November, the lowest level since 2018, after holding steady at 4,889 in October. According to the TurkSTAT flash report of Q4, tractor registrations dropped to 5.223 units with a 16 percent decline year-on-year, marking the worst performance for the sector for 6 years. Drawing upon several reports, the trajectory of the overall retail sales during the January-November period recorded also particularly poor figures and the retailers’ performance fell to 57,068 unit tractors, a decline of 18 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Aside from this, examining the last 5 years’ meridian, the January-November period of 2024 data points out a 14.7 percent change in retail sales after considering the 2019-2024 data of the Tractor Registration Bureau.
