In terms of imports, the total value of the three quarters decreased by 18.2 percent year-on-year and amounted to $1B. Thus, the sector’s foreign trade surplus amassed $76M. Thus, total machinery exports in the January-October period of 2024 (excluding free trade zone areas) decreased by 1 percent yoy levels and fell to $20B and the unit value increased to $7.4 per kg.
