A trade delegation program to Egypt was conducted between September 21 and 24, 2026, with the participation of nine members, under the AGROBRIDGE 4 UR-GE Project managed by TARMAKBİR with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Trade. The program took place concurrently with the 38th Sahara International Agricultural Exhibition held in Cairo.
As part of the program, contacts were established with the Turkish Commercial Counsellor’s Office in Cairo, the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA), and the Turkish Embassy in Cairo; additionally, B2B meetings were held with representatives from more than 20 Egyptian companies. Based on the meetings and site visits, areas such as irrigation, land preparation and tillage, sowing, fertilization, fruit-growing mechanization, post-harvest technologies, olive and olive oil processing systems, and smart agriculture solutions were identified as key opportunities for the Turkish agricultural machinery sector.
