The 14th “TARMAKBİR Sector Meetings,” originally launched in 2007 and now a long-standing tradition, will take place in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on January 30-31, 2026.
The last meeting took place in Antalya from February 9 to 11, 2024, and gathered around 150 participants, including industrialists, industry representatives, and officials from relevant ministries and associated organizations, as well as media representatives from finance, trade fairs, and the industry. The event was streamed live on industry-specific television channels.
First introduced in 2024 under the theme of “Ideas Worth Sharing,” our Industry Meeting is now convening merchants from the sector in response to widespread interest. To this end, we have extended the program to two days, and the first day (Friday, January 30, 2026) is designed to raise awareness, taking into account the needs of our dealers and drawing inspiration from world-renowned TED conferences on the following topics.

TARMAKBİR Chairman Gökhan Bayramoğlu will offer the opening remarks on the second day of the event. General Secretary M. Selami İleri will also talk on the state and prospects of the farm machinery sector.

Just like last time, we will focus on finance and economics again on the second day of our program. Servet Yıldırım and Ali Ağaoğlu, two prominent figures in this field in our country, will be in attendance.

On this second day, prominent figures from the Turkish Machinery Federation and the Machinery Exporters Association will also be in attendance. Adnan Dalgakıran, Kutlu Karavelioğlu and Sevda Kayhan Yılmaz will share their valuable insights on the machinery sector.

The event will also feature very important guests from public institutions. The Rural Development Investment Support Program + Turkey Climate Smart and Competitive Agricultural Growth Project (TUCSAP) + the World Bank-funded “Common Machinery Park” (TARDİP) project, which aims to improve the agriculture and food sector in earthquake-affected provinces, will be discussed on Friday, January 30th, by Dr. Osman Yıldız, General Director of Agricultural Reform at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey.

Additionally, will be joining us to discuss sectoral issues. We are currently awaiting confirmation of the participation of two other speakers: Mr. Ibrahim Yumaklı, the Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, and Prof. Dr. Zümrüt Begüm Ögel, the Chairperson of the Presidency of the Turkish Agriculture and Food Policies Board. The topic will be agricultural reform at the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Our program will begin with hotel check-in on Thursday, 29 January 2026, and guests will be able to depart on Sunday. 1 February 2026. However, members with very tight schedules may check in on Friday. Please note that we do not recommend this due to the content of the program on the first day.
