Tractor registrations have fallen significantly to their lowest level in over a decade. The latest data from the Turkish Statistical Bureau (TUIK) reveals not only a sharp drop in overall sales but also shifting investment patterns and widening regional disparities across the sector.
According to the TurkSTAT flash report, the number of brand-new tractors sold on the market fell by 42.3 percent to 2,370 units in April. Drawing upon several reports, tractor registrations dropped to 6,646 units with a 57.5 percent decline year-on-year in the January-April period. Aside from this, the trajectory of the overall retail sales during the January-April period of 2026 also recorded particularly poor figures and last 5 years’ meridian of the April registrations points out more than a 67 percent change in retail sales after considering the 2021-2025 data of the Tractor Registration Bureau.
