Ankara, 28th March 2026 — The Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED) convened its 6th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting. The MAKFED Board of Directors and the General Assembly unanimously elected Mr. Karavelioğlu for a two-year term during their respective meetings on the 28th of March in Ankara.
Kutlu Karevelioğlu, Vice President of TİM (Turkish Exporters Association), is the new chair of the board at the Ordinary General Assembly of MAKFED, the umbrella organization of groups functioning in the machinery manufacturing industry, of which TARMAKBIR is one of the founding members.
The chairperson of TARMAKBIR, Gökhan Bayramoğlu, joined Karevelioğlu, who is also a leading member of TARMAKBİR (Layne Bowler), on the new MAKFED Board of Directors.
We express our gratitude to our previous Board Chairman, Şenol Önal, who has served on the MAKFED Board of Directors since the inception of the Federation in 2014, and we extend our congratulations to the new leadership under Karavelioğlu and Bayramoğlu.
