The number of brand-new tractors sold on the market fell by 54.7 percent to 1,169 units in January, the lowest level since 2018. According to the TurkSTAT flash report of 2026, tractor registrations dropped to 1,169 units with a 57.5 percent decline year-on-year, marking the worst performance for the sector for 7 years. Drawing upon several reports, the trajectory of the overall retail sales during the January-December period of 2025 also recorded particularly poor figures, and the retailers’ performance fell to 40,501 unit tractors, a decline of 36.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
